There were many wide-spread lies in the dark ages in the church.  Many of those lies were bound by the reform.  But when it comes to the nature of God.  There is a concept that still persists and preached as if it is true.  It’s not based on scriptures or anything.  It’s just a very defended concept that many support.

This is the saying that Trinity is a mystery that no one can possibly understand.  It’s a way to close the subject before any question may arise.  Whoever even touches it, is automatically considered heretic.  This was one of the main causes of mass killing by the Catholic church based on heresies. Open your eyes

Open your eyes and wake up. The Lord is spirit and wants to bring his kingdom to us through Jesus words.

Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned
(Rom. 5:12).
For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive
(1 Cor. 15:22).

If we sin because we are born sinners, should our sins be counted as sin?

At the beginning Adam was without blame, because he had no knowledge.  As soon (more…)

It may sound a little silly, but in moments of desperation or frustration, really works to call Jesus and tell him exactly how we feel.

I was in church for many years, and “knew a great deal about the bible.”  I remembered that my pastor told me once, that I was an elderly of the church to my surprise.  And even after that, at one point, I found myself struggling and I said in my heart, I need Jesus.

And I told him.  I said Lord, Jesus, I need you.  I need you to fix my life.  I need, you.

And I started surfing the web about Jesus.  I subscribed to newsgroups about Jesus.  And all I found were people denying God and cursing.  I started talking to them, exposing the gospel.  I started telling them about Jesus.  All the words were coming back to me.  And at the same time, those words were talking to me.

The whole bible started having a more especial meaning.  Every story in the bible was like brand new.  The stories that I heard since I was a child got a special power and sounded different.

Then, the greatest thing happened.  The Lord started working with me.   I never felt him so close.  My prayers were answered, I changed.  Everything changed.  I started seeing things from a different perspective.

So many things that I used to believe, I started seeing them as they were.  I realized that I was believing many lies.

I understood that The Lord truly love us and care about us.  That the blessing of God is always there if we just can see it. Also, I understood that I was blind, that I couldn’t see.  The Lord opened my spiritual eyes.  I also understood, that I was never as righteous as I thought.  But that The Lord could take me through all the way if I just trust him.

I learned that I would never be the same.  I started seeing things differently, feeling more compassion, caring more about others.  I got so sensitive, that I even started liking Opera.  I mean Christian Opera and old music.  I was living every feeling coming from the music.

When I read the news, I prayed in the spirit.  Every morning was a day for The Lord.

Have you ever seen two people arguing, and then realize that they are both defending the same point of view?

The bible open source

Often, people start a discussion without listening to what the other party has to say.

When it come to Christians, there are so many points in which we all agree. The bible is clear enough for us to understand that God is not pleased in non-productive arguments.

  • We all know that Jesus put his life to save us from our sins.
  • Every soul is valuable to God, and so should be to us.
  • We all know that The Lord wants us to love each other as if we were one.
  • We all know that God hates sin and we should not practice it.

It seems that the most important points are perfectly clear and everyone agree. But why so many allegations of being the only one saved and the rest will go to Hell?

Let’s stop listening without understanding.  Let’s take the bible as a series of books all combined.  No more isolated passages to defend a point.  Let’s genuinely seek for the will of God like someone who knows nothing and eager to learn.

If the world of God is revealed by The Spirit which is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. It looks so clear that practicing arguments among believers is contradictory to what we profess.

There is no need to try to convince someone of certain doctrine. After teaching someone, all that is left is to pray.

The person need to realize the true by himself in order to have absolute faith on it. The sawer, in the parabola of Jesus, just throw the seed. The Lord is the one who cause the seed to grow according to the bible. We can’t force the word into anyone. No matter how good our intentions may be. God is the one who does the work in each persons’ heart.   Jesus has to enter into a person’s heart.  We can’t force it.

When it come to Christians, the scriptures says:

Jeremiah 31:33
“No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the LORD. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.”

1 John 2:27 “But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.”

Should The Bible be interpreted only by church authorities? For many centuries, the word of God was confined to the priesthood for teaching it, and for interpreting it.  The reason was to stop blasphemies and heresies.

After a while, we got a big corruption inside the church.  The bible became a prohibited book. Nobody knew anything other than what the church authorities let them know.  People started believing that killing under the name of God was good.  It took Martin Luther  and many small battles and even blood to bring the freedom to read the word of God, again.

All of this, is absolutely shameful to the body of Christ.

Why is important the freedom to open interpretation?

My salvation concerns me first.  I am the most affected if I get lost.

Why should I relay on the clerical to read the bible for me?  What about if they are wrong?

I will listen to the authorities but with a conscious.

I won’t argue.  But, I won’t close my eyes when things are wrong.

I pray to God for direction.

I will ask him questions when in doubt.

Without a doubt, He has all the answers.

If I can’t listen to.  Then I would ask for a sensitive heart and mind, and also for wisdom.

I will trust God with all my heart and I will stay alert on everything I hear.

No wars should be made in the name of GodThere are some teachings of Jesus very hard to digest. But looking at them closely, we realize that they are the base of our Christian faith.

The Lord send us as sheeps in the midst of wolves.
Christian should never fight back, they say…
The sheeps have no chance when facing a wolf. Because the sheeps are unable to defend themselves. The Shepperd pays close attention to any danger and immediately something goes wrong, he runs to rescue them. He does not care of how big is the danger. But he put his life to save his sheeps. The example is king David when working as a Shepperd for his father.

In this world, If we try to defend ourselves as Christians, we will perish. If we fight evil practicing evil, then we are like them. In this case, we won’t be enhancing the kingdom of God, but the kingdom of darkness.

Matthew 26:52 says: “Put away your sword,” Jesus told him. “Those who use the sword will die by the sword. It’s clear that the Lord disagree with faithing his battles through a sword.

Jesus healed the soldier who went to catch him after Peter cut his ear. We are called to heal, to restore, to forgive, to give to the poor. In few words, to bring the kingdom of God to this world.

Someone may ask, how this can be done without fighting. This is the reason we live by faith. The Lord founded his church with a few

God loves my enemy, so should I.

followers who were not politically powerful, neither well educated, but believe in Jesus words with all their hearts.

Like Paul said, our fight is not against flesh neither blood, but rather against principalities of darkness.

We need to make everyone aware that no one should go to war. This is a dream, it may look impossible, but one day it will happen. It’s written.

If our whole nation convert to Jesus, we need to change our army and instead of people with weapons, we should have an army of man and women with bibles and full of the Holy Spirit to proclaim the gospel to the enemies. Because the only enemy of Jesus followers is evil itself, not the people. If we need to abandon the country, we can do it because we know that our citizenship is not of this world but of Heaven. If do not have anything, we can trust that the Lord provides to those who are loyal to him. This is faith and true belief.

As Christian and I am not patriot for any country but of Heaven. If my country fights and my enemy looses, I also loose. Because God is also at their side. My victory is only when everyone wins. When there is peace. When Jesus touches the hearts and people come to God.

Unless you take the kingdom of Dod as a child, you won't be saved.

A new creature, is what God is expecting.

Every one who come to Jesus, should experience a change, a change that will make you what Jesus called a new creature.

This new creature according to the bible is born from water and from Spirit.

First, it’s the commitment to change molding us by the word of God.  We usually do so,when we baptize and decide to live according to the scriptures.  This is the conscious decision of estimating the things from above over the things from this world.

Second, it’s the transformation of the heart or the new birth from the Spirit.  Where we no longer struggle on doing the will of God.  But rather the will of God is our will. Where the flesh is death and the spirit is alive.

For most of us, this will never happen because we get into the error of believing that we are already righteous.

One of the requirements for salvation is to recognize and confess our sins, knowing that we are all sinners.  We are all sinners away from the grace of God, because our hearts are bad.  We are selfish, we pursue the things of the flesh over the things of the spirit.

But unfortunately, the blindness do not allow us to see it. sometimes we do not see sin in our lives, at least not enough to feel repentance and regression of our way of living.

This is the reason why Jesus says that the prostitutes and the publicans will reach salvation before the Pharisees.

We need that humble heart of the man who went to the temple imploring forgiveness to The Lord, or like the women who washed Jesus feet with her tears and cleaned with her hair.   The Lord will clean our hearts when sincerely we ask for it.  The Spirit of the Lord which produces fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, meekness, goodness, faith, long suffering, self-control will purify us as the fire purify the gold.

We fall into the same trap of the pharisees.  But our Lord, Jesus taught us that the sin is not only in the act, but in the heart.  Until we receive a clean heart that only wish and think on what is good and put others above ourselves, the work of God is still in progress.
