Homosexuality is just another sin…
But what makes this so controversial?
Can a child be born as a sinner without ever committing any evil? Nothing sounds more ridiculous than being born a sinner and never had done anything.
There is another type of sin. That one that we don’t commit, but equally affect us. This is the sin committed by others. This is the one we grab, just by being part of a dysfunctional family, society or world.
When a women is raped, she haven’t done any evil, but she grab all the consequences from the sin she have been victimized. Often she brings to the world an unwanted child that may not be able to love his father. She gets stocked by pain and resentment against the person who used her and abused her.
She engage into a chain of resentment where at first is like impossible to get rid off. Is she paying for someone else sin? Yes, she is. But I will tell you something, the only way to get free from someone else sin is to forgive that someone else. This is exactly what Jesus is teaching us in the gospels.
The Lord Jesus brings the war against the actual enemy which is evil itself. Never against members of the same human kind.
I didn’t understand this until I saw myself in a situation that I considered quite unfair. I asked, Lord what happened? Sometimes things don’t make sense. But I had learned that when things don’t make sense, the safer step is to trust God.
The God that is supposed to be pure love seems to be closing his eyes to all those supposedly born in the wrong body. Nothing more farther from the true.
Where is the compassion that made of The Lord Jesus such a unique character?
It’s not a joke or just a theme for debate, the fact that many young kids are killing themselves for not being able to hold this horrible burden called homosexuality.
Not because they are in a worst situation than anybody else, but because some get to embrace the feeling that neither God or their parents, or their friends loved them for what they are. This is another trap from what we call Devil.
Certainly, God loves you more than anyone in this world, whoever you are.
Jesus says, that The Father makes rain to fall over righteous and over evildoers.
God hates sin, but not sinners.
God is full of compassion, and because of that Jesus came to save what was lost giving his own life to rescue those who were lost. And the trick here, is that we were all lost, without hope.
Everyone is a creature of God, but to be saved and be part of the family of God, we all need to be born again to become part of the family of God.
It says that in such a way God loved the world that he gave his only begotten son for whosoever believed in him won’t perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16.
One of the biggest failure of the church
No other, but to fail to address the division between sin and sinners
Anyone, I mean exactly anyone, is the right candidate for Heaven if just allows Jesus into his life and believe in his heart that he is sufficient to set him free from all sins. Everyone, exactly everyone is a sinner if he or she does not repent, such person won’t be saved.
It’s not about condemning the world, but to set the world free through the words of love and hope that our Lord Jesus Christ teaches us. The Gospel of power is the one that teaches us to love even to our enemies and bless those who curse us.
The question may be how a homosexual or bisexual can change? How an addicted can stop his addition?
Could an slave free himself? This is very unlikely. Everyone who feels trapped on any way, needs to invite Jesus into his(her) heart and believe that he and only him will set you free. There is no salvation on any other, but in Jesus Christ, the son of God.
Well what is sin? It’s the action of doing what you know is wrong consciously. It’s revealing against God. It’s also anything that keeps us away from God.
Jesus did not come for the righteous, but for the sinners.
The message is the same for everyone, straight, homosexuals, decent, indecent, religious and non-religious:
Change your ways towards God. Do good. Change your way of talking, conduction among others. In a few words, turn your life. Make it acceptable to God no trying to please others, but to The Lord(without hypocrisy). Don’t do anything to be seen or praised, but to be acceptable to the one that sees in secret and rewards the one of sincere and good heart.
